Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Australia owes a debt of gratitude to Judith Viorst, author of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Thanks to Alexander’s refrain of “I think I’ll move to Australia” after each minor tragedy befalls him,  the country down under resonates in the minds of many children to be a utopian paradise where brothers don’t receive preferential treatment, gum doesn’t get stuck in your hair, and forget about going to the dentist!

Now the book is being released as a movie, starring the always hilarious Steve Carell and delightful Jennifer Garner. We can’t wait to see the exploits of Alexander on the big screen in the first feature film adaptation of the beloved book! This time he will discover he isn’t the only one who suffers from terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days, and that just maybe, his family can even make it better!
