Calaway Park Comic Fest For Kids Makes Family Time Extra SUPER!

Calling all SUPERHEROES! The world needs YOU!

Calaway Park is calling all Superheroes to get their costumes on and come visit Calaway Comic Fest for Kids from July 14 – 16, 2023. Your mission, if you choose to accept it (don’t worry – it’s easy!): come to the park to experience Calaway Park like you never have before! You don’t have to dress up in your best family-friendly costume. After all, superheroes need an undercover civilian disguise from time to time. But superheroes and superheroines, princesses and princes, and even trusty sidekicks are welcome! And although this weekend says that it’s for kids, we all need super-parents, and adults can join the fun by wearing costumes, too.

What to Expect

Calaway Comic Fest for Kids is included with your admission to Calaway Park. You’ll enjoy 32 rides, live entertainment, Cinemagic 3D, the Haunted Hotel, CP Spray n’ Play, free parking, and so much more; it’s all the fun of Calaway Park, plus Comic Fest for Kids! Dress up in a family-friendly costume, watch Global Pet Foods’ SuperDogs, meet your favourite characters, and join in some fun surprises in the Calaway Comic Fest for Kids zone.

The Global Pet Foods’ SuperDogs show, Pawvengers, is a 15-minute SuperDogs show, that will be performed multiple times a day. (Find the schedule here.) Performances are at the white tent across from Bumble Blast. Limited seating is available, plus there is standing viewing. Guests will have a chance to meet the dogs for 15 minutes after each show.

Stop by the Photo Op Zone to be transported to a world far, far away. Plus, you never know who you might run into on a weekend like this. Scheduled photo opportunities with your family’s favourite characters will happen each day behind Ocean Motion. Calaway Comic Fest for Kids Costume Guidelines:

Comic Fest for Kids is a family event. Please ensure your costume is appropriate for our youngest superheroes.
Shoes must be worn.
Loose items of clothing, including capes and satchels, may have to be removed to safely enjoy certain rides.
Parents – you are superheroes, too! Please dress up in a family-friendly costume.
Please, no full face masks.
