About the speakers:
Dr. Jane Nelsen:
Jane is one of North America’s leading and most respected voices on the subject of child discipline. She is an educator, psychologist, counselor and author of the best selling Positive Discipline books. Jane’s Positive Discipline model has been used by parents, teachers and caregivers to successfully transform adult/child relationships throughout the world.
Cheryl is a licensed marriage and family therapist, mental health consultant and family coach for the University of Nevada and Reno’s Early Head Start Program. She is the author or co-author of nine parenting books including seven of the Positive Discipline books.
Ruth is the conference organizer and a Certified Positive Discipline Educator and Trainer. Her educational background is in early childhood, educational psychology and counseling. Ruth spent over 20 years as a teacher, including special education and raised three sons. Ruth now dedicates the majority of her work life to educating parents, childcare providers & teachers in Canada (and beyond) about Positive Discipline.
