Chow Down, Cowboy Style, at Some of Calgary’s Best Stampede Breakfasts (Updated July 6th)

Mmmmm pancakes!  One of the many great things about Stampede is that you can get your fill of flapjacks, little sausages and juice boxes at all the various breakfasts around the city. Dress up your little buckaroos in their Western best and check out some of the city’s many pancake breakfasts. We’ve listed some of the city’s biggest breakfasts, but be sure to check out to see if there are any other breakfasts near you. Try their event calendar for an easy way to see all the available breakfasts on each day!

Stampede Caravan Breakfasts: July 9-16, in various locations (click the link for the complete schedule)

Fluor Rope Square: great entertainment, fun, world-famous bacon pancakes and YYC Food Trucks. Weekdays (July 11-15): 8:15 am – 1:15 pm; Saturdays (July 9 & 16): 8:15 am – 12:15 pm; Sundays: Closed. Olympic Plaza @ the corner of 7th Ave and Macleod Trail SE.

Thursday July 7th

First Flip Pancake Breakfast: 7:30 – 10:30 am, Stephen Avenue, outside the TELUS Convention Centre (8th Ave. btwn Centre and 1st St SW)

4th Street Pancake Showdown: 9 – 11 am, along the 4th Street SW BRZ in Mission. Main Event area: The Mission (1919 4th Street SW) will have live music, free coffee and face painting for the kids.

Suncor Family Day Breakfast at the Stampede Grounds: 7 – 9:30 am (available to the first 20,00 guests through the gates after 6 am)

Woods Homes Stampede Breakfast: Bowness Campus: 9400 48 Avenue NW

This one’s for the dogs. Bon A-Pet-Treat! Pet Bakery will be hosting their 4th annual FREE Puppy Pancake Brunch for your four legged furry friends. This fundraiser will benefit Ft. Mac’s Animal Rescues. Fun filled day with an adoptathon, free nail trims, meet a vet, silent auction, door prizes, goodies bags and even get a caricature drawn of your pup! 12 – 5 pm; 5111 Bowness Rd. NW

BMO Kids Day Pancake Breakfast at the Stampede Grounds: 8-9:30 am (while supplies last)

Gray Family Eau Claire YMCA: 7 – 9 am, 101 3 Street SW

Southcentre Mall Pink Pancake Breakfast: 9 – 11am, 100 Anderson Road SE. This special event helps raise awareness and promote participation in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure, which takes place October 2, 2016. Run by hundreds of volunteers, this one-of-a-kind breakfast event serves up pink pancakes and encourages guests to come out dressed in their best pink western gear in support of the breast cancer cause.
