On February 13, 1947, Imperial Oil’s Leduc #1 gushed out oil and forever changed the face and economy of Alberta. At the Leduc Energy Discovery Centre you can see displays of rigs and the original Leduc #1, the world’s largest drill bit, films, an engaging learning lab, a virtual ride in the world’s biggest drill bit, interpretive tours with oil patch veterans, a gift shop and an onsite Campground with 20 serviced RV stalls.
