Safe and Carefree Springfree Trampoline

I try really hard not to be a “helicopter mom.” Most of my parenting philosophy revolves around building up a solid foundation of ethics and confidence in my boys so that they can make good decisions for themselves. Which is a good theory, and I’m not abandoning it. I’m playing the long game, and eventually it will pay off. In the meantime, though, they are kids. Kids with brains that are still developing, who test boundaries and the laws of physics, and give me a near heart attack at least once a week.

I don’t want to wrap them in bubble wrap. (Actually I do, but I don’t want to have people stare on the playground.) I want them to explore with their bodies and take risks, but my job as a mom is to set the parameters to explore within.
Springfree Trampoline is a company that shares my outlook. There’s no two ways about it: Trampolines are fun and awesome. However, you don’t have to look too far to find a story of someone hurting themselves on a trampoline. Springfree has retained the fun, but managed to cut out 90% of the product related injuries in regular trampolines.

Springfree Trampoline

The trampoline getting installed. The composite rods in place of traditional trampoline springs are where Springfree derives its name.

The revolutionary design uses composite rods instead of springs which eliminates the risk of pinch injuries. The gap beneath the pads on other trampolines is non-existent on a Springfree trampoline, which means no more legs slipping through. And the frame is positioned far under the jumping surface, so it is impossible to hit an errant limb or noggin. Another fantastic feature is the safety net that rings the trampoline. It is insanely strong, so falling against it won’t cause rips or tears—off-the-ropes WWE moves not recommended, as  much as my kids would like to! The mesh is based on commercial fishing net design; each cell is independent and won’t run like other, lesser mesh.

So I am looking at a summer full of contentedly letting my kids be happy bouncing kids, knowing they are safe as they can be on a trampoline!
