2024 marks the inaugural year of the Harrison Tulip Festival (formerly the Chilliwack Tulip Festival)! 10 million bulbs are planted and ready to bloom for visitors to stroll amidst and take beautiful photos.

Lakeland Flowers is sharing a time-honoured Dutch Tradition spanning 27 acres in the heart of the Fraser Valley. With 5km of tulip-lined pathways, you will have the opportunity to walk among the 70+ varieties of tulips, blooming in all different colours, shapes, and sizes.

Head to VanDusen Botanical Garden on April 13th & 14th for Sakura Days Japan Fair! Enjoy food, performances, arts and culture. Look forward to taiko drumming, theatre performances, woodworking demonstrations, and a renewed Japanese Garden display, to name a few!
4. Desfile Vaisakhi de Vancouver
Enjoy food, lively music and an incredibly vibrant parade at the Vancouver Vaisaki celebration this Saturday! The parade starts at 8000 Ross Street, Vancouver, and will feature plenty of colourful floats and performers.
5. Art Vancouver
If you’ve got a budding artist in your midst, you won’t want to miss the Art Vancouver Festival this weekend! Art Vancouver is a multi-day art fair event that attracts a diverse group of professional artists, collectors and art lovers. The event includes hundreds of artist booths, panel talks, live art demonstrations, art classes, painting competitions, and more!
6. Métis: Children of the Fur Trade
Learn about Métis heritage and culture with performances, speakers, and artisans at the Museum of Surrey on Saturday, April 13th. Entrance is free!
7. VSO Kids’ Concert: Classical Kids Live!
On Sunday, April 14th, take your kids to experience a 60 minute performance by the incredible musicians at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. This concert is Classical Kids Live: Saint George’s Bow and Sword. Don’t forget to try out instruments, learn through characters and play games in the VSO School’s interactive playzone located in the lobby before the show!
