Ahoy Matey! Starting Friday June 24th, the HMCS Sackville Ship will be open to the public daily from 10am-5pm. Step inside and see what is was like to live and work on this ship during the Second World War. It will be staged to reflect the 2022 theme, Action Stations- complete with red light conditions!

HMCS Sackville is Canada’s oldest warship. This Naval Memorial and National Historic Site was a combat veteran of the Second World War and now the ship is a museum located in the Halifax harbour! What a life! Sackville has been restored to her war configuration and is home to exhibits and artefacts dedicated to the legacy of those who served at sea during the Battle of the Atlantic. Enjoy this interesting part of our history with the whole family.
