All are welcome to join the Shambhala School and The Young Naturalists Club for this free screening of the award winning film “Nature Play, Take Childhood Back”, a documentary that compares the high stakes testing and stressful environments of US schools with the Nordic North, which opens the door to the playful path of playing outside. A trailer for the film can be viewed here. The film is suitable for viewing ages 8+.
At 6:30pm, half an hour prior to the film there will be an expo featuring clubs, groups and organizations that offer outdoor and nature play, as well as nature and environmental education opportunities in the Halifax area.
