It has already caused a buzz in the architecture world and on CNN. And it won the  Coast award for Best Library 2014…even though its doors have never been opened to the public! But soon – in fact any day now – you and your family will be able to walk into the beautiful space that is the new Halifax Central Public Library to borrow a book, have a coffee… or just sit and enjoy the space.The new library will open on Saturday, December, 13th, 2014.  Check the links below for more information about the opening events for Halifax’s newest (but already well-loved) icon.
