Why should winter get all the fun? Revelstoke Mountain Resort is adding even more fun to their summer line up with The Pipe Mountain Coaster…a roller coaster down the side of a mountain! The newest summer attraction will reach speeds of up to 42 km/h as it twists and turns over 1.4 km from its starting point at the Revelstoke Lodge (reached via gondola) 279 vertical metres (915 feet) down into the Resort Village.
Not feeling the need the speed? Each rider controls the speed using hand brakes, so a leisurely drift through the forest and over the ski runs is possible too! Young children may ride with a responsible adult, and children over 8 may ride alone provided they reach the height and weight requirements.
