All of Chilliwack is getting into the Canada Day spirit. Be sure to wear your red & white! As is tradition the day starts with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast at Evergreen Hall (8:00 am – 11:00 am). After everyone’s bellies are full, head off to Townsend Park for family fun (11am – 4pm) featuring live entertainment (Ever After Princesses, The Unbranded, Illusion Rhythmic Gymnastics, The Crescent Sky, and more), face painting, arts & crafts, bouncy castles, pop up market & food trucks.

If the day is hot, be sure to head over to the Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre for all-day family-friendly activities.

At 6pm, the gates at Townsend Park open for the evening celebrations. Bring a blanket and plan on getting dinner from the food vendors. The formal ceremonies start at 5:45pm. And then the live entertainment (The Lounge Hounds, John Welsh Band, Marlie Collins, and Greg Neufeld) will entertain the crowd until the fireworks at 10pm.
