Fresh air, physical activity, and the opportunity to learn some new skills? That sounds like the perfect summer camp! With Pedalheads Summer Camps your kid can learn to swim, bike, ride the trails, and learn the rules of the road in a safe and fun environment with highly-trained instructors! Plus, kids can combine their love of land and water in a special swim & bike camp.

A positive attitude towards physical activity and sports starts at a young age. By giving your children fun opportunities and teaching them foundational skills, their confidence to try new things will increase. Along the way, they are making the connection that staying active is FUN, which helps them to make lasting habits. As parents, we all want our kids to be confident and capable, but we don’t always have the time or resources to teach them these new skills. So, why not let the experts step in to help? Pedalheads is a leader in teaching kids to ride every level of bicycles, and in a city like Metro Vancouver with so many available parks, trails and spaces for biking, this is a skill they will use daily. Whether your child is starting from the basics, or ready to tackle tougher trails, Pedalheads has flexible camps ranging from full-day to half-day and private lessons to meet kids where they are. With camp locations in Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, Burnaby, Port Moody, Coquitlam, West Vancouver and North Vancouver, families have flexibility in where they register.

Pedalheads ® Bike | Ages 2- 12

Pedalheads Bike Camps are the ideal summertime activity. In the summer camps, your child will become comfortable riding safely on all types of terrain. The folks at Pedalheads know what they are doing; since 1995 they have taught 500,000+ kids how to ride! The half-day or full-day camp options – plus before and after camp care – make Pedalheads Summer Camps the BEST plan for your child’s outdoor summertime fun.

Pedalheads Bike runs Monday to Friday from July to August.

Kids 1-3 years: Pedalheads has camps designed for the youngest riders! The Riding Rookies Camp gives tots who are just 1 & 2 years old a chance to practice their skills with a guardian in attendance. Kids ages 2 and 3 can check out the Trikes ‘N’ Trainers or Balance Bikers Camps. Within two days of the Balance Bikers Camp, my 3-year-old was riding confidently! These instructors know how to inspire and motivate even the tiniest tots!

Kids 4+ years: There are 6 levels for children ages 4 and up meaning, you can find a camp that offers the exact skill development your child requires. With small camp sizes and positive reinforcement, kids of every level will see improvement in their biking skills. Besides improving their biking proficiency, children will learn important biking safety and age-appropriate maintenance skills.

Pedalheads Swim

With Pedalheads swim camps, your child will be learning the skills they need to be confident and safe in the water in no time at all. Similar to their bike and trail camps,  Pedalheads instructors are experts at helping children progress through the levels in a fun and encouraging environment using age-appropriate toys, games and strategies. Plus, Pedalheads swim camps offer lessons from parent & tot, preschool and school-aged lessons in both small group and private lessons.

Pedalheads® Trail

The Pedalheads Trail Riding Camps are great for kids looking to develop new skills with a focus on fun and adventure. Kids will get to explore the local area along the bike trails and continue to develop skills such as riding on various surfaces, riding up and down hills, and tackling tough trails for older kids. They will also learn related bike safety and maintenance skills. Trail camps start for kids as young as 4 years old.
