Polar Bear SwimWhy not start 2020 off by freezing your tootsies (and other body parts) with a plunge into the Pacific Ocean. Normally our coastal waters aren’t terrifyingly cold because our winters are mild. For those of your brave enough (or crazy enough) to dive in, good luck! Our cold December means those waters are going to be ICY. Delta’s 40th annual Polar Bear Swim is a popular event. In addition to the icy swim, there will be children’s activities & entertainment. Good luck & keep warm (somehow). Please wear appropriate footwear / water socks, and swim-friendly clothing that covers your legs as there could be ice in the water.
