Renfrew Park Community Centre is situated on the south end of the spectacular Renfrew Ravine Park. The Community Centre opened in 1963 and has served thousands of Vancouver families over the years. It offers a variety of programs and services for all ages including a preschool, gym and sport activities, aerobics, fitness, dance programs, martial arts, language classes, community art projects and special events.
The Renfrew Park Community Centre’s facilities include: a fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, sauna and whirlpool, a games area and room rentals. Summer programs are organized outdoors at four playgrounds (some with wading pools) at nearby parks, as well as day camp programs.
In 2005, the indoor swimming pool experienced extensive renovations and upgrade (including family change rooms). The fitness room also experienced a small expansion.
