WestJet Member Exclusive fares to Paris

Is the WestJet Member Exclusive Fare a Good Deal?

To see how this compares to purchasing a regular ticket, we looked at a flight to Paris from May 7-11. Who wouldn’t love springtime getaway to Paris? One can dream. The lowest airfare we could find via Google Flights was with Lufthansa for $920.30. Compare that to WestJet’s Member Exclusive fare of 598 CAD WestJet Dollars plus taxes of $196.70 for a total of $794.70. That’s $125.66 in savings.

Don’t have enough WestJet Dollars to cover the base fare for the Member Exclusive Fare? No problem. You can top up your Rewards during your online purchase. There is a small cost to purchasing WestJet Dollars. To purchase 25 CAD WestJet dollars, it will cost you $29.00. If you need full amount to get to Paris, you can purchase 600 CAD WestJet dollars for $630.00.

Do that math, and the airfare is still a whole lot less than buying it elsewhere.

Other than Buying WestJet Dollars, How Can I Earn Them?

Once you have a WestJet Rewards account set up, you can earn 1% back of the base fare of your ticket in WestJet Dollars. WestJet also has partnership agreements with American Airlines and Delta where you can earn WestJet Rewards when flying these airlines. Booking a hotel and car rental on WestJet’s website are ways to earn Rewards as well.
