I came across this YouTube video this morning and I just had to post it. I think I have finally found the answer for all those arguments I’ve had with people about Canadians and our supposed lack of culture. I travelled a lot in my 20s and found it easy to define what I felt it meant to be Canadian. One starts to develop a sense of national pride when homesick. I think if the opportunity arises and someone insists Canadians don’t have their own sense of identity I might just have to play this YouTube clip for them.
This video is essentially poking fun and having fun at being Canadian and covers all the bases. Watch it and I dare you not to giggle.
