On May 9, 2020, carya, a human services agency dedicated to creating healthier, more connected communities in Calgary, is inviting you to an online progressive dinner! A Seat at the Table: eatt Online is a virtual dining experience for everyone, and perfect for date night or a special Mother’s Day event.
eatt (everyone at the table) Online is a virtual dinner with two of Calgary’s top chefs, JP Pedhirney and Julie Van Rosendaal, paired with the musical talents of George Canyon and Drew Gregory. You’ll also hear delightful wine suggestions from sommelier Cam MacCorquodale to take your in-home online dining experience from incredible to unforgettable.
These masters of Calgary’s culinary scene will prepare a three-course dinner that’s not to be missed. Families, roommates, and zoomates can register online and cook along from their own kitchen, while connecting via virtual broadcast.
To top it off, The Organic Box, a supplier of locally sourced ingredients, will prepare and deliver meal kits to your doorstep for orders placed by May 1st. The Alberta-based company is providing kits to community members in Calgary, Canmore, and Edmonton at cost. Participants simply make their purchase online and boxes will be delivered safely and securely.
The event is free but donations to the COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund are welcome.
