Bring the whole family out for a kid-friendly afternoon concert on February 2, 2020. This is a magical singing journey with the music of Bach, Beethoven, Piazzolla & Villa-Lobos!
Based on the book by American writer Seymour Leichman, The Boy Who Could Sing Pictures is a story of Luca, son of the Bustelo-the-Jester, in which he discovers his gift of magical song. The adventure follows Luca through a summer-long tour of surprises and wonders, and reaches a climax with a fateful encounter with the evil ministers “Reducto” and “Canoli.” Luca learns to trust his talents and saves the day, and the kingdom too!
Join storyteller David Gonzales and Daniel Kelly on the piano featuring music of Bach, Beethoven, Piazzolla, and Villa-Lobos. The show is recommended for children aged 5 to 12 but created with the entire family in mind. The concert is approximately an hour long with no intermission.
Want more fun? Come early to visit the craft room and other activities one hour before the show, and stay after for a cookie reception!
