Get your kids connected over this winter break — without their devices! Camp Cadicasu Winter Break camp will connect kids to a Winter Wonderland this holiday season, with adventure and excitement in a snowy Kananaskis landscape.
Christmas and New Year’s is great for entertaining the kids, with family gatherings and new toys. But once the excitement of ringing in the new year is done, how will your kids stay active and happy over the rest of their long school break? That’s where you need Camp Cadicasu! Located between Calgary and Banff, Camp Cadicasu’s summer camps are known for the camp’s small community feeling, great atmosphere, and amazing staff. But Camp Cadicasu is just as great in winter (some campers say it’s even better)!
Campers ages 7- 15 years old will enjoy many typical summer camp activities like hiking, performing arts, nature awareness, wilderness skills, arts and crafts, storytelling, and campfires, but with the added excitement of experiencing them in a winter environment. Add to all those fun activities some sledding, snow forts, and winter games, and it’s sure to be a week to remember. Most activities are done outside, with the option to head indoors if the weather does not cooperate. Camp Cadicasu has heated cabins and electricity to keep everyone toasty warm, plus, there are no bugs to worry about in the winter!
The Camp Cadicasu Winter Break camp began as a safe, fun place for the kids to go when Mom and Dad head back to work after New Year’s Day. It’s grown into its own entity as a friendly, welcoming place where kids can experience adventure, nature, and the warmth of community. Your kids will start 2023 in an environment that promotes kindness, teamwork, courage, empowerment, healthy living, and joy.
The Winter Break camp runs from January 1 – 6, 2023, and early bird pricing is on until November 30, 2022, so register online soon! This holiday season, kick the kids off their screens and outside — they’ll be happy you did! There’s no WIFI in the forest, but here your kids will have a better connection to others and nature than anywhere else.
