Campfire Chats Indigenous Day (Family Fun Calgary)

The University of Calgary and the Calgary Stampede present Campfire Chats in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day.

Enjoy an afternoon of cultural events featuring teepee raising, dancers, drumming, and storytelling from community leaders and Traditional Knowledge Keepers. These family-friendly events are come and go.

In the evening, pull up a blanket and celebrate the longest day of the year with diverse stories about the cultural significance of tipis in the Treaty 7 region of southern Alberta. Make sure to reserve a spot for these Campfire Chats with Traditional Knowledge Keepers.
