Every spring and summer, the City of Calgary sets up roving mobile skate parks, complete with roll-ins, fun-boxes with rails, pyramids with rails, grind-boxes, quarter-pipes, wall rides, and half-pipes, in different communities around the city. The parks are open to all ages and City staff with first aid training will be on hand to supervise. Helmets and waivers are required for all skaters, with parent signatures required for participants under 18. Visit the city’s website for waivers and a schedule of where the parks will be.
