Earth Day is April 22 and your family can take part in the Currie Tree and Treasure Hunt to explore some of Calgary’s oldest and largest trees!
From April 22–30, 2021, Calgarians can enjoy the outdoors by scanning QR codes at 10 noteworthy trees throughout Currie to learn more about the various species, historical anecdotes, fun facts and more. Intended to be both educational and fun, the treasure hunt will lead urban explorers throughout Currie and provide the opportunity to enter to win dinner from The Inn on Officers’ Garden and an ice cream coupon booklet redeemable for 10 sweet treats. (You just need to post a photo of one of the 10 trees on Instagram using #currietreecontest.)
Happy tree hunting!
