Learn Emergency Preparedness Skills and Meet First Responders at the City of Calgary’s “Disaster Alley”

Disaster Alley, as part of Canada’s national Emergency Preparedness Week, takes place each May to educate Calgarians on how to better prepare for an emergency. The event showcases over 30 exhibitors including the Calgary Fire Department, Calgary Search and Rescue Association and HAWCS, plus many more exhibitors. Kids will love seeing emergency vehicles (including helicopters!) and canine first responders. Explore specialized rescue equipment and learn how to put together your own 72-hour emergency preparedness kit.  This FREE event is sure to be lots of fun for the whole family!
