May 2017

As a mom to a two-year-old with no sense of personal boundaries (he still sleeps in my bed) who would rather eat play doh than pasta, I long for my alone time. Don’t get me wrong, I love chocolate and flowers as much as the next girl, but for Mother’s Day what I really want is a break! Listen up dads, this year let mom sleep in, relax, drink mimosas, hit the spa, quietly read a book or check off some items on her personal to do list. While mom is doing her thing, here is a guide to help dad do his… with the kids. Whether you’re a pop culture fanatic, sports fan, outdoorsmen or museum buff this guide has something for everyone.
