As a mom to a two-year-old with no sense of personal boundaries (he still sleeps in my bed) who would rather eat play doh than pasta, I long for my alone time. Don’t get me wrong, I love chocolate and flowers as much as the next girl, but for Mother’s Day what I really want is a break! Listen up dads, this year let mom sleep in, relax, drink mimosas, hit the spa, quietly read a book or check off some items on her personal to do list. While mom is doing her thing, here is a guide to help dad do his… with the kids. Whether you’re a pop culture fanatic, sports fan, outdoorsmen or museum buff this guide has something for everyone.
Take your museum experience to new heights with the Hangar Flight Museum, formerly known as the Aero Space Museum of Calgary. Embracing all forms of flight, the museum helps visitors learn and explore the history, art and science of flying from military and civilian aircrafts to insects, birds and bats.
