Summit Kids has a fresh, relevant and innovative approach to caring for children. It seeks to be an environment that keeps children’s needs at the centre of everything they do. They promote a well-balanced, inclusive and holistic environment that is safe, fun and educational for our children that strives to create a strong sense of self-esteem. Summit Kids accomplishes this by promoting leadership, peer mentoring, modeling good choices and supporting positive life-long habits.

Their approach is no different when it comes to their summer camps. It provides the same quality child care experiences and philosophy as their programming during the year but wants to make sure your children have an unforgettable time! The Summit Summer program offers outstanding programming from July 4 to September 1, 2017 for one-week sessions . Each week of Summit Summer will feature a different FUN-tastic theme that appeals to the specific needs and interests of 3 different age groups; ages 4-7, ages 8-10,  and 11-15. Each week is packed full of activities, including a daily swimming program (weather dependent).

 

Summit Summer is located at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association, which is conveniently located in north central Calgary – but just minutes from downtown. The cost is $220 for members, and $260 (+GST) for non-members, based on a 5-day week. The weeks of July 4th and August 8th are 4-day camp weeks due to the statutory holidays. Those weeks cost $176 for members and $208 (+GST) for non-members.

The camp sessions run from 8 am – 5 pm daily, and they also offer before and after care if parents require it for an additional fee. The before camp care is from 7 – 8 am, and the after camp care is from 5 – 6 pm.
