Open Aircraft Days are coming to The Hangar Flight Museum!
The number one wish visitors have expressed at The Hangar Flight Museum is to be able to sit inside the historical aircraft. Now’s the chance!
From June 25 – September 5, 2022, there will be Open Aircraft Days on Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday Mondays. Knowledgeable staff and volunteers will be available to answer your questions. Expect to see the Avro Lancaster, the F-86 Sabre, the Beechcraft 18, the Twin Otter, and the Douglas DC-3, in rotation. You might consider a Museum membership so that you can come back for each plane! See here for the schedule.
There are a few safety precautions to keep you and the artifacts safe. All aircraft entries require that you are wearing clean, closed-toe shoes. Some of the aircraft will require hard-hats and/or gloves to enter (these will be provided to you).
