Calgary is a city that embraces outdoor experiences. But not every family wants to pack up and hit the ski hill. The Servus Tube Park at WinSport offers downhill excitement and winter fun, for any skill level and ability. And you don’t even need to leave the city! One of the largest of its kind in Western Canada, the Tube Park features eight groomed lanes (some designed for single riders and some for groups) and a magic carpet to carry you to the top of the hill. This winter, enjoy the thrill of the ride and the warm experience of laughing together as you arrive at the bottom of the hill … comfortably!

Tubing is the best winter activity for everyone. Maybe you dread driving too far in the winter, but your family needs a fun day of connection. From kids who complain about having to walk back up the hill when they go sledding, to teens who think all your regular activities are “boring,” you can satisfy everyone when you head out for an afternoon of tubing. Finish off with a hot chocolate and it’s the perfect outing!

This winter, embrace the season and head for WinSport to make some memories with your family. Whether you already love winter sports or want to start with winter activities that are surefire fun, you’ll want to book your ticket to visit the Servus Tube Park soon. It’s the perfect activity to enjoy time outside with the kids because it brings you all the thrills with none of the spills!

Know Before You Go

The minimum age requirement for the Servus Tube Park is 4 years old and the minimum height requirement is 36 inches. Children between 36 and 42 inches must have an adult holding their tube during descent, but kids over 42 inches can tube on their own.

Tickets to the Tube Park must be purchased online in advance and can be picked up at the outdoor ticket booth, now located at the northeast side of the day lodge parking lot. Even spectators must purchase a ticket. You will have access to the tubing hill ten minutes before your booking time.

Helmets are strongly recommended. There are a limited number of helmets available for rent and guests are encouraged to bring their own helmets. Of course, you’ll want to dress for the weather – it’s no fun outside if you’re cold! Don’t forget boots with a good grip and note that cold weather and wind can impact operations, but you will be contacted if your booking is affected.

It can be tricky to find an activity that the whole family loves. But tubing is sure to be a hit, so this winter, check out the Servus Tube Park at WinSport for winter thrills, family fun, and loads of laughter. Race you there!
