This new school year is upon us and it’s time to go full STEAM ahead at Steamoji Maker Academy<\/a> in Calgary West! With an engaging STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) program designed to train future builders, makers, inventors, and entrepreneurs, your child’s potential will be unlimited! The choices are endless, driven by your child’s interests, imagination, and creativity!<\/del><\/p>\n

Steamoji is proud to offer structured after-school STEM programs for young apprentices 5 and up. Their 400 hour Build to Solve\u2122 curriculum aims to complement and enrich your child’s school studies, while providing a multitude of opportunities for problem solving and self discovery. Your child will get to use a wide range of technology in the well-equipped maker academy, and have the opportunity to develop exciting new skills under the helpful guidance of Steamoji facilitators.<\/del><\/p>\n

Oji Junior | Ages 5-6<\/a><\/del><\/h3>\n

Oji Junior is tailored for small hands and big imaginations and introduces kids to computing, art, building, and beyond. The youngest apprentices will love this hands-on introduction to STEM. Kids ages 5-6 can explore computing, building, art, and more as they prepare to level up to the Build to Solve\u00ae program.<\/del><\/p>\n

Build to Solve\u00ae <\/sup>| Ages 6-14<\/a><\/del><\/h3>\n

Steamoji’s core after-school STEM program follows the 400-hour Build to Solve\u00ae curriculum. Apprentices from 6 to 14 can work their way through a series of missions<\/a> as they gain experience in coding, robotics, digital art, 3D design, and other technical skills. These fun and engaging projects include all materials and instruction needed to help guide them across the 4 subject pathways:<\/del><\/p>\n
