Celebrate Halloween with the animals at the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Boo at the Zoo!, presented by North Central Co-Op, is back for another year of scare free family fun on October 21, 22, 28 & 29, 2023. Grab your tickets for all the regular zoo highlights, plus magical guest characters, candy, costumes, conservation, and fun!
During Boo at the Zoo! guests are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume and bring a reusable bag or pail to trick-or-treat at stops around the Zoo. Plus keep your eyes peeled on the pathways for some special super villains and heroes joining in the Halloween festivities!
Between collecting human-friendly treats, you may also see the animals getting special Halloween treats of their own. Look closely in each of the animal enclosures and see how many pumpkins you can find being played with or eaten!
Halloween is the perfect time to come learn about some of the not-so-spooky animals at the zoo. You can take part in a variety of different critter talks, enjoy meet and greets with the animals, and learn how you can support animal conservation with the Edmonton Valley Zoo.
Pre-purchased tickets are required to attend Boo at the Zoo! Tickets are general admission and will be available online for purchase two weeks in advance of each date. Search the date in the calendar on the movelearnplay.edmonton.ca website to book your tickets. The event will take place rain or shine, so come dressed for the weather.
