With a visit to TELUS World of Science Edmonton (TWOSE) this summer, your family can explore life among the dinosaurs at Expedition: Dinosaur. This immersive experience will find you surrounded by life-size (and lifelike!) animatronic dinosaurs in a pre-historic landscape. You’ll feel momentarily transported back in time as you’re surrounded by the realistic sounds and movements of the dinosaurs.
Throughout the exhibit you’ll learn about these majestic beasts that once roamed the earth and find out more about the never-ending search for fossils. You’ll be able to take on the role of paleontologists and archeologists as you view exhibits full of artificats and fossils.
While at TELUS World of Science Edmonton, be sure to take in the new IMAX Film: Dinosaurs of Antartica. In ancient times, dinosaurs and other ancient creatures roamed freely in a lush landscape. Today, the continent holds evidence of that world, frozen beneath its ice and snow. As the climate changes again, melting Antarctic ice is allowing scientists to discover the remains of the past — including the fossils of those distinctive dinosaurs. With this film, audiences of all ages will enjoy meeting the dinosaurs, as well as the dedicated scientists who explore the warming continent to uncover them.
Summer 2021 at TWOSE is the perfect place for dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages! Be sure to book your tickets online in advance! The exhibit is scheduled to open July 1, 2021.
