Leduc Country Lights (opens December 1) – One of our region’s most popular Christmas light displays will live on this year in a new location! Check out the next phase of Leduc County Lights!
Luminaria (December 1 – 31, excluding Christmas Day) – Your chance to see the U of A Botanic Garden amid the serene glow of lights and candles! Keep an eye out for magical snow sprites!
Zoominescence (Thursday – Sunday throughout December) – See the Edmonton Valley Zoo in a whole new light! The whole family will love this fabulous evening event at the Valley Zoo. Our favourite? The light tunnel!
Christmas in Old Strathcona (open now) – Check out the beautiful light display in McIntyre Park before heading down Whyte Ave to buy Christmas gifts from popular local businesses.
YEG Candy Cane Lane (opens December 11) – During the Christmas season, this regular ole neighbourhood street gets transformed into a spectacular display of lights. Drive the lane and don’t forget a donation for the Food Bank!
Shumka’s Nutcracker (Available until January 15, 2021) – For the first time ever, you can experience the magic of Shumka’s Nutcracker right at home. Download the 2017 performance for just $25.
GLOW Edmonton (opens December 18) – Experience 90,000 sq ft of twinkling light displays including the popular LED swings and Glen the Glow-comotive.
Drive-In Christmas Special with Edmonton Opera (December 21 & 22) – Join Edmonton Opera for an old fashioned Christmas Special — performed live from the roof of the Jube with music broadcast to your car’s FM radio.
Canadian Tire Magic of Lights at Castrol Raceway (open now) – Drive thru 2.5 kilometres of raceway fully decorated with moving animations and beautiful lights.
Enchanted Forest in Fort Saskatchewan (open now) – Visit the city’s Enchanted Forest – a free, indoor Christmas tree collection located at the Dow Centennial Centre, Shell Theatre, City Hall and Fort Saskatchewan Public Library.
Winter Wonder Forest Holiday Light Drive Thru (open now) – Drive through over 115,000 sq feet of twinkling displays at Rainbow Valley Campground.
Family Amazing Race: Gold Bar Style (December 13) – Families get to travel around Gold Bar neighbourhood completing tasks and having fun together.
