The Art of the Brick at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton

Dog Days at University of Alberta Botanic Garden
Until October 9 | For a couple special weeks at the end of the Fall season, you can bring your four-legged friend to sniff, explore and play at the University of Alberta Botanic Garden. While pets are not normally permitted, dogs (on leashes) and their people can enjoy the fall garden together on these special days.

Pumpkins After Dark
All Month | Canada’s award-winning Halloween event has arrived in Edmonton with 6,000+ hand carved pumpkins arranged in stunning sculptures displays throughout Borden Park.

Fall-o-ween Fun at Prairie Gardens and Adventure Farm
All Month | Come get lost in the corn maze, meet some adorable farm animals, play games, and get ready for the spooky season by picking out your own unique pumpkin from the pumpkin patch!

Smoky Lake Great White North Pumpkin Fair 2023
October 5-8 | This year’s fair has expanded to a multi-day event to fit in all the fall fair fun, and pumpkins, Pumpkins, PUMPKINS everywhere. Activities include a full carnival, pancake breakfast, the pumpkin weigh-off, car show, corn maze, pumpkin drop, perogy eating contest, and much more!

Art Gallery of Alberta All Day Sunday
October 8 | This month’s theme is Play with Clay where guests will be encouraged to squeeze, roll and mold a playful sculpture or wearable art inspired by other works of art in the Gallery. The fun is perfect for all ages, and is free with your gallery admission (which is always free for kids 17 and under)

Kiwi’s Haunted House
October 13-14, 19-21 & 26-29 | Visit Kiwi Nurseries this Halloween as the outdoor pathways and growing house are given a spooky makeover. Souvenir flashlights are even provided to help guide your way through the dark. There’s even a Kids Costume contest on Saturday, October 28!

Alberta Prairie Railway Pumpkin Fest
October 14 | Head out to Stettler and hop aboard Alberta Prairie Railway to enjoy an authentic train ride that leads to fun-filled activities including a petting zoo, barrel train rides, and picking out your own pumpkin to bring home from the patch!

APEGA Rock and Fossil Clinic
