Beatles Back in Time at Jubilations Dinner Theatre

Fort Saskatchewan Sheep Leaving Parade
September 5 | Bid adieu to summer, and the sheep, at the Fort Saskatchewan Sheep Leaving Parade! Come for noon to feed the sheep (apples & carrots provided by the City), then stay for the parade as they are shepherded through the downtown core.
The Marketplace at Callingwood Pop-up Night Market
September 9 | Bring the family and enjoy time together as you sip, sample and shop your way through this amazing selection of 70+ local vendors and food trucks. Entertainment includes inflatables, face painting, roaming characters, roving stilt walkers & hoola hoop performers, plus an exciting fire show!
Family Fun Fair and Movie in the Park in Beaumont
September 9 | Come out for an evening of food and fun in Four Seasons park. The fun fair will run from 6-8 pm, followed by an outdoor showing of the hit comedy The Sandlot at 8:30 pm.
EMBFest: Edmonton’s Mountain Bike Festival
September 9 – 11 | Bring the whole family out to learn more about the mountain biking lifestyle and how to incorporate this fun and fitness filled activity into your own life! This annual festival will be three days of group rides, biking to live music, and silly fundraising events.
Revisit a Harvest of the Past at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village
September 10 | Don’t miss the final event of the season! Explore the village, see an old-fashioned threshing bee, and watch costumed interpreters give demos all about farming in the olden days.
Open Cockpit Day at Alberta Aviation Museum
September 10 | During this special event, visitors can find themselves in the seat of an authentic piece of aviation history! Join in the celebrations with special family programming, guest presentations, photo booth opportunities and food trucks.
Play On! Canada’s Largest Street Hockey Festival
September 10 & 11 | Canada’s Largest Street Hockey Festival is back for 2022 and will be hitting Edmonton’s Ice District! Everyone is welcome to this exciting two day event – all you need is some sneakers and a hockey stick to join in the fun!
Greater Edmonton Model Train Show
September 10 & 11 | The soccer fields in Millennium Place (Sherwood Park) will be packed with model train displays, demos, how-to clinics and plenty of fun for the kids including a LEGO activity centre.
Take the FREE Parkbus to Elk Island National Park
September 10, 17 & 24 | Sit back and enjoy FREE Summer shuttle service from Downtown Edmonton to Elk Island National Park! Your ride includes a guided tour of the Elk Island National Park Visitor Information Centre, a behind-the-scenes tour with Parks Canada Interpreters and time to explore the park on your own.
Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo
September 16 – 18 | Each year, Edmonton Expo attracts tens of thousands of fans for a 3-day celebration of all things fandom – from superhero blockbusters to vintage comic books and everything in between. Whatever interests you, you’re sure to find it here including one-time-only workshops and guest panels with artists from around the world.
Kaleido Family Arts Festival
September 16 – 18 | Join the free family fun as Alberta Avenue comes alive with creativity, entertainment and arts of every kind!. Kaleido is a celebration of community.
Gateway to the Stars at Elk Island National Park
September 16 – October 22 | Gather around the campfire for storytelling and star gazing with a knowledgable Parks Canada Interpreter. Elk Island National Park is part of the Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve, making it the perfect place to see the constellations.
Community League Day
September 17 | Celebrate with local Community Leagues at several great events in the weeks leading up to, and on, official Community League Day September 17, 2021. Check the event map for great activities such as carnivals, bouncy castles, bbq’s, outdoor movies and petting zoos.
All Month | Take in a movie on the big screen outdoors at one of these outdoor/drive-in movies. Some of them are free, and others have a small cost for meaningful fundraising.
Edmonton Corn Maze
All Month | The stalks are high, the sunflowers are bright, and the farm fun is a plenty! It’s the perfect time to go get lost at the Edmonton Corn Maze!
Kraay Family Farms
All Month | Take a daytrip out to the farm and to get lost in the corn maze, see the animals, ride the train, climb the adventure course and play some mini golf. There’s so much to see and do here!
