Everyone is excited to help you get into the festive spirit during this family-friendly event in downtown Edmonton! Dalla Tavloa Zenari is ready to share the seasonal tradition of roasted chestnuts as you peruse their Italian-inspired Mano Holiday Market, and Canadian Maple Shack will be serving up the quintessential maple taffy on a stick! Grab your free festive treats and a hot beverage (while supplies last) to warm up as you stroll along Rice Howard Way and admire beautiful new art installations from local artists Tessa Stamp, GABS, Sokaris, Vignettes and The Works. Be sure to have your phone charged and ready for a selfie with Clair, a spectacular life-sized Polar Bear created by Edmonton artist GABS!

Help bring light to the dark wintery night with the free lantern workshop at Edmonton City Centre. Join GABS in The Warming Hut for instructions and all materials needed to make your own star-shaped lantern creation. Choose to take it home with you, or bring it to Rice Howard Way to be hung above Clair the Polar Bear for all to enjoy!

Also brightening up Rice Howard Way will be the Hula Hoop Circus, performing in light-up costumes! You can experience their mesmerizing acrobatics under the glow of the lanterns from 5 pm to 8 pm.

To warm up and enjoy even more holiday cheer, head into Enbridge Centre lobby where local artists will be performing live music all afternoon and evening. It is the perfect spot to get merry as you enjoy music and play some holiday themed games!

Speaking of cheer, we can’t forget to mention it is game day for the Edmonton Oilers! The game starts at 5:00 pm and there is no better place to watch it then Sherlock Holmes Pub or CRAFT Beer Market.
