Centre court at Southgate Centre is looking a little brighter these days! From September 24 to October 13, 2018, you can light a lantern and dedicate a wish at the lantern festival, Let It Glow! This event is a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta, and for a donation you can add a lantern to the beautiful display. There will also be a variety of free family activities and cultural performances on select days through the event.
Saturday, September 29, 2018 – 1 pm: Edmonton Hung Mon Athletic Club
Sunday, September 30, 2018 – 2 pm: Chinese Business Association – Lion Dance, lantern making, and calligraphy
Saturday, October 6, 2018 – 2 pm: Free lantern-making workshop
Sunday, October 7, 2018 – 2 pm: Hong de Canada – Lion Dance and Warrior Drums
Saturday, October 13, 2018 – 1 pm: Hung de Canada – Lion Dance and Warrior Drums
3pm: Jeon’s Traditional Taekwando
