There are plenty of lights, decorations and fun inflatables to see all the way up and down this street in Edmonton’s Southeast neighbourhood Lake Summerside.

Lights for Larry

Lights for Larry is an  impressive display is made up of more than 135,000 lights -inside and out- in honor of the homeowner’s family member who was diagnosed with ALS. There’s a train, a light tunnel, a moose, some reindeer, happy penguins, and much more! In 2022 they were chosen as the ‘Best Lit House’ in Alberta in the Direct Energy Light up for the Holidays contest.

Stony Plain Lane – Home of the Famous Griswold House

If you love National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, check out this house in Stony Plain decorated to pay homage to the Griswold family, complete with Uncle Eddie’s RV! The whole neighbourhood does a great job lighting up their homes for the holiday season, earning the title of “Stony Plain Lane”. Donations for the Food Bank are also being collected on site. The official Light Up Event will take place on Saturday, December 9, 2023!

Maisie’s Magical Christmas House

What started as a few strings of lights in 2004 has grown into a stunning tribute display to the creators mother, Maisie. You can see this house from blocks away with its huge trees decked out in lights, and the entire yard filled with beautiful Christmas displays! Donations are being accepted to Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) this year. PLUS check this post for the nights Mister Grinch will be there for photos!

Carducci Christmas Show

Get lost in The Jolly Jumble as Glow Edmonton returns on December 1, 2023 to January 1, 2024! Be on the lookout for Santa’s little helpers as you meander through a sea of giant ornaments, magical trees, and cascading lights. This festive experience has become a holiday tradition for Edmonton families, with over 100,000 sq ft of twinkling holiday displays to discover inside the warmth and comfort of the Edmonton Expo Centre!

The theme of this year’s Glow light festival is A Jolly Jumble and includes an exciting quest to help Santa’s elves, an interactive Kids Fun Zone, live entertainment, and special character appearances. Be sure to check the full schedule to discover special events like Spider-Verse Day, an Enchanted Evening, and a Glow without Limits sensory-friendly day.

Glow Edmonton offers something for everyone to brighten the Holiday Season!
