Summer is for going on adventures! Kids aged 6 to 10 can embark on fun and exciting week-long adventures with MacEwan Explorers Summer Camps! MacEwan Explorers day camps are the perfect combination of educational experiences, creative expression and active fun – and are led by professional educators who understand the value of learning through play!
Each day begins with fun and experiential learning opportunities designed to spark imagination, followed by art activities, singing, games and much more! Camp activities will take place in various classrooms, labs and areas around campus at MacEwan University. Campers will even get 1-2 opportunities each week to visit the state-of-the-art MacEwan Sport and Wellness Centre to go swimming!
MacEwan Explorers Summer Camps include daily afternoon snacks, a special souvenir camp t-shirt, and the option to add the daily hot-lunch program to your registration. Register online by May 15 to take advantage of the early bird rate of $240 per camp. After May 15, the regular rate is $270 per camp.
Investigating the Past – July 15-19 (Ages 6-9)
Dig deep into history! Explore paleontology and archaeology – and even go on an adventure to the Royal Alberta Museum!
Scientific Discoveries – July 22-26 (Ages 6-9)
Discover your inner scientist with this week of learning about everything from biology to chemistry to learning about bees!
Community Superheroes – August 12-16 (Ages 7-10)
Campers will explore the world of being a social entrepreneur while they work together to identify challenges in our community and come up with creative solutions.
