Winter always comes early to the prairies. It brings unrelenting cold temperatures, buckets of snow and bored kids. It can be hard to fill the endless hours of indoor time while keeping your sanity as a parent, but especially so during the current pandemic where options to go out are limited. So, what is a parent to do?? Get those kids registered for TELUS World of Science (TWOSE) Virtual Programs! They combine learning and fun in an affordable way, from the comfort of your own home.
Fall Science Clubs are 4-week long programs that are led by engaging instructors and held within an small online group setting. Registration for Fall Science Clubs is open!
Triceratots – Does your little one love dinosaurs? Learn together about prehistoric times through stories, songs, activities and interactive play. Cost is $25 for ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers.
TinkHER – Girl, you are going places! Youth ages 12 to 17 who identify as female can learn about coding, creating and thinking outside the box. Cost is $180 which includes tools, materials and coding equipment.
All virtual camps include a live learning session, activities within a small group, independent activities and extra video content to keep the fun going! Registration for PD Day Camps and Winter Break Camps are open!
Greetings Earthlings – Go on an imaginative journey to discover more about the planet Earth (from the perspective of a misplaced alien) through stories, games and activities.

Mars Missions – Do you have what it takes to survive on Mars? Complete tasks in math, science, technology and engineering to find out!

Full of STEAM – A little bit of everything to cover all the bases. Campers are challenged to discover new ways to engage with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.

House Hackers – Take your big dreams and put them to use! Design and build creative projects using things found around your house and share them with your small group.
