This October, it’s time to get out of the city! It’s Haunted Pumpkin Festival time at Prairie Gardens Adventure Farm<\/a>, and there’s no better way to celebrate the beauty of fall and the spookiness of Halloween than at the pumpkin patch on a farm.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Prairie Gardens is a working 35-acre family farm just 25 minutes north of Edmonton, providing local, healthy food and good, old-fashioned fun. They plant and sell over 15 acres of u-pick pumpkins of every size, colour, and shape imaginable. It’s the perfect place for families to play together with 50+ farm fun activities, fresh air, and fantastic fall photo ops!<\/p>\n

\"Prairie<\/a><\/p>\n

Haunted Pumpkin Festival<\/h3>\n

Move over Christmas – Prairie Gardens and Adventure Farm has spent the last 30+ years celebrating Fall as the most wonderful time of the year! The annual Haunted Pumpkin Festival begins on October 4, 2025, and runs through to Halloween. Every weekend offers a spooky (but not scary!) chance to visit the humongous pumpkin patch, take a train ride, meet roaming characters, and lose yourself in the corn maze. Kids will love the bale mazes, a sunflower head maze, farm animals, and a Pumpkin Corn-i-val, filled with pumpkin-themed games. Did we mention there is a pumpkin cannon and gem mine, too?!<\/p>\n

Of course, you don\u2019t want to forget the Halloween excitement! Visit the ghost town with Ghost Walks to Elm Street Cemetery, or sneak into the Haunted Farm House. (But don\u2019t worry, it\u2019s kid-friendly, with no gore). If you visit on Halloween Day, kids (ages 3-12) dressed in costumes get FREE admission!<\/p>\n

The weather is cooling down, and the spooky season is nearly here. Get your tickets for a frightfully fun family day at the Prairie Gardens Haunted Pumpkin Festival<\/a>! The Festival is Open Saturdays, Sundays, Thanksgiving Holiday Monday, and Halloween day. Book your tickets online<\/a> here. (For October 31 – Do not purchase tickets for children who will be dressed in costume \u2013 they are FREE!)<\/p>\n
