Everyone is invited to join the celebration of Ukrainian culture, food, music, visual arts, crafts and dance during the UFest Edmonton Ukrainian Festival<\/a>. This free two-day event welcomes people from all cultures and backgrounds to embrace and honour Ukrainian culture and heritage through musical and dance performances, beer gardens, Ukrainian food vendors, arts, crafts and merchandise vendors, an exciting array of workshops<\/a>, family-friendly activities, and much more!<\/p>\n

Bring your family to Borden Park on May 29 and 30 for a great time! Admission to UFest is free, and kids can enjoy activities<\/a> like a petting zoo and other family-friendly fun. This lively, cultural event has become one of Edmonton\u2019s favourite spring festivals.<\/p>\n

UFest offers something for everyone, from energetic Ukrainian dance shows to lively folk music that will get your toes tapping. Bring a lawn chair to relax and enjoy the live stage, and come hungry to try to sample the delicious cuisine (for purchase). Your taste buds are in for a treat with everything from homemade perogies, cabbage rolls, and sausage to sweet treats like honey cake and pampushky!<\/p>\n

Each year, UFest is also proud to invite another guest culture to share the spotlight. This year’s guest culture will be the Irish, with special performers, talented artists, and delicious food to enjoy on-site.<\/p>\n

And the party doesn’t stop there! There’s a bar for the 18+ crowd, featuring a custom “Budmo Brew” craft beer by SYC Brewing. Grab a cold one at the UFest After Dark<\/a> party on Friday and Saturday night. Live Ukrainian bands will keep the fun going from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM!<\/p>\n

Whether you’re of Ukrainian descent or simply curious to explore new cultures, UFest<\/a> welcomes people of all backgrounds with open arms and open hearts. Mark your calendar and be there to share in the Ukrainian Spirit in Canada’s Festival City!<\/p>\n
