Instill confidence in your pre-teens and teens and bring everyone out of their shells! Campers learn to perform; but equally, they learn how to speak out in effective and appropriate ways. Campers will have the power to shine both on stage and off. Drama Camp isn’t just for the accomplished young actors, kids new to the art will learn throughout the week, no experience is needed. All participants gain knowledge and understanding through the week-long program. Kids will find a community, gain friendships and celebrate their personal growth.
Communication is key in drama and acting-loving campers learn to communicate verbally and non-verbally. If your kids are nervous about performing, they won’t be by the end of the week! Guaranteed! Campers come away with valuable skills that can be used in many areas of life: campers end the week with a new understanding of the world around them, a smile on their faces, and of course, with new friends!

Camp leaders are senior Drama students under the supervision of a Drama faculty member. Camp leaders provide a safe and nurturing environment for your kids and teens.
Experience all Aspects of the Theatre World
Each camp features plays, theatre games, basic sets and costumes. Participants also work with simple sets and costumes. Each week there will be two camps running simultaneously – one for the younger campers and one for the older campers and the week culminates in a play for parents and friends: a play your child is instrumental in developing! Every week, campers will learn about improvisation, characterization, voice and movement and, new this year, they will see what happens behind the stage.
