Does your little one love to perform? Eastern Front Theatre Summer Camps can help harness your child’s creative powers! Dramatic training is known to improve critical thinking, develop imagination and build self-confidence. This camp is perfect for both the shy wallflowers that might need a little help coming out of their shell and the precocious performers who love to be in the centre of it all.

The EFT Summer Camps are offered to children ages 6-12 and bring together campers within similar age groups to strengthen skills that are vital for connection and vibrant self-expression. With two sessions offered in August, these camps provide scheduling flexibility for busy parents who want their kids to get the most out of summer.

With a focus on group work, campers will improve their ability to cooperate and collaborate as they develop a wide variety of drama skills.

Activities include:

  • movement
  • improv
  • singing
  • story-creation
  • vocal exploration
  • script work
  • and more

All activities are designed to build confidence and create space for self-discovery, personal growth, and fun. Kids will let their imaginations soar as they find their voice with an on-stage performance. Throughout the week they will be guided toward the shared goal of delivering a spirited group performance on Friday afternoon, and you’ll have the best seats in the house!

Eastern Front Theatre has been developing and producing the work of Atlantic Canadian Theatre arts for nearly three decades. They are committed to enriching lives by making performing arts more accessible within their community and unleashing the talent of budding young performers.
