Does your little one love to create and perform? Eastern Front Theatre has your July covered with their Theatre Summer Camps. These week-long sessions are for campers aged 5-12 and have been designed to create space for self-discovery, personal growth, and fun.
Help harness your child’s imaginative powers by putting them in an inclusive, supportive, environment that nurtures creativity. These camps will bring together campers within similar age groups to strengthen skills that are vital for connection and vibrant self-expression. With two different sessions offered throughout July, your child will have the opportunity to choose which themed weeks appeals most to them. If it’s too hard to decide, why not sign up for more than both? If you are registering more than one child, keep in mind that a $10 discount per week is available for additional children registered from the same family.
Theatre Camps
Session #1: July 15 – 19
Session #2: July 22 – 26
With two themed camps to choose from, campers will start each day with group ice-breaker games before splitting up into smaller cohorts by age. Each group will explore various drama skills like movement, improv, choreography, singing, story creation, voice, and script work. With a focus on group work, campers will improve their ability to cooperate and collaborate as they develop a wide variety of drama skills.
Kids can let their imaginations soar as they find their voice with an on-stage performance. Throughout the week they will be guided toward the shared goal of delivering a spirited group performance on Friday afternoon at 3:00pm, with a red carpet and all. You will have the best seats in the house.
