It’s all in the way a dancer turns their head or holds out a hand. It’s feeling the beat and moving to the music. It’s about finding yourself in the joy of dance! Elle Dance Academy is welcoming young dancers of all ages and abilities to their classes this fall. If you have a little one who’s always bopping or a youth who already amazes you with their skill, you’ll want to check out the excellent programs at EDA. Dance is more than just learning the steps, it’s about creating confident kids. Dance classes will offer your children joy, discipline, teamwork, and loads of fun!
Elle Dance Academy is a family made up of dancers, parents, and teachers. Established in 2014 by Lindsay Fraser-McPherson, the studio stands for hard work and the support of friends and family. Miss Lindsay aims to provide dancers with an environment that fosters creativity, confidence, and discipline. With warm instructors and a welcoming atmosphere, dancers will find a safe space here, where they can learn and grow as they develop into confident and accomplished young adults, all while they create something beautiful!
Programs at Elle Dance Academy are available for even the littlest dancers! Children from 18 months to age 3 can join Parent and Tot classes for a perfect introduction to dance. Older kids can join recreational classes in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, acro, lyrical, and contemporary. Through the recreational program, dancers will learn the basics of their chosen dance technique, meet like-minded friends, and enjoy performing in the year-end recital.
After a dancer has begun their training, they can move on to dance competitively, if they desire. Dancers will have a varied training week, including a weekly ballet class and choreography classes to learn and rehearse new routines. Besides competitions, dancers will also perform in the year-end recital.
This fall, your kids can dance their way to greater activity, improved mental health, and new friends! Registration is now open for the 2022-23 dance season. Give your dancers skills that will benefit them well beyond the dance studio!
