Another school year is almost in the books and lots of summer events and festivals are in the works! June kicks off with the first big festival of the summer, the Annual Lebanese Cedar Festival!  The splash parks and outdoor pools will be opening towards the middle of June and we will close out the month with the International Tattoo Festival coming to town!

Lebanese Cedar Festival (June 1-4): It’s the Annual Lebanese Cedar Festival, where you can savour the sights, sounds, and tastes of everything Lebanese. This popular festival includes authentic Lebanese cuisine, Lebanese music, cultural shows, mouth-watering pastries, and much more.

Cold Waters Seafood Festival (June 3-4): The cold clear waters of the Eastern Shore yield some of the best seafood in the province – great eats, live music, and family fun.

Halifax Greek Fest (June 8-11): The Halifax Greek Fest is one of the best Halifax festivals of the summer. The festival not only showcases culinary specialties but also Greek cultural and historical roots.

Riverbreeze Farm Baby Animal Days (June 10,11,17,18): RiverBreeze Farm invites you to celebrate spring at their Baby Animal Days – adorable baby goats, lambs, piggies, chicks, bunnies, and more.

Bedford Days Celebration (June 21-July 1): Bedford Days is a 10-day long festival that delivers family-friendly activities and events that celebrate cultural diversity and good old-fashioned fun.

Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo (June 30-July 3): Not only is it the family show of the summer, but this year the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo is offering one FREE child ticket when you purchase an adult ticket!

Harbourside Rib Fest (June 30th-July 3rd): The Harbourside Rib Fest is cookin’ at the Alderney Landing. The grills will be heating up all weekend so you have plenty of time to try them all.
