New Year’s Eve Family Extravaganza

This family New Years Eve event features a variety of land and water-based activities, contests, games, arts and crafts. What a great way to say goodbye to 2019!

New Years Eve Family Party at Cole Harbour Place

New Year’s Eve isn’t just for adults! The whole family can ring in 2020 at Cole Harbour Place with swimming, skating, bouncy castles, crafts and snacks.
When: Tuesday, December 31st, 2019
Time: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

New Year’s Eve Public Skate and Fireworks at the Halifax Oval 

The New Year’s Eve event at The Halifax Oval is a great celebration for families with kids of all ages. This is a FREE family-friendly event. Night skates: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, and 9:00 pm – 12 midnight. Fireworks at 7:00 pm and midnight.
When: Tuesday, December 31st, 2019
Time: 6:00 – 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm-midnight
Where: Halifax Oval

New Year’s Eve at Grand Parade

Join in the biggest outdoor New Years Eve celebration in the city and countdown to 2020 with a great lineup of musical entertainment and dance performances. The celebration will finish with the largest fireworks display in Atlantic Canada at midnight.

2020 Polar Bear Swims

Herring Cove Polar Bear Dip for Feed Nova Scotia

This polar bear dip has been going for 25 years! Register in advance. Not suitable for children (but fun to watch)!
