For over 20 years, they have offered children fun, unique, hands-on science experiences through after-school programs, birthday parties, STEM workshops, and special events. Learning doesn’t have to stop when the bell rings. This upcoming year, Mad Science will be offering a new Science Club for kids that is designed to complement your child’s learning experience through camaraderie and the use of simple, engaging, science techniques. The Science Club will take place in the evenings starting in 2023, and will be offered in the Lower Sackville and Halifax regions with more locations expected to be announced in the future. Mad Science offers immersive birthday party experiences designed for kids ages 4-12, you can choose from a number of fun themes and optional add-ons like a rocket launch or cotton candy. With a science show, a selection of take-home activities for kids, and ready-to-go Goody Bags, these birthday parties are sure to be the talk of the playground.
Encouraging scientific literacy in children at an age when science is as vital as reading, writing, and arithmetic, Mad Science have been offering programs to thousands of children in more than 100 schools throughout the Maritime provinces.
