Pier 21 March Break 1
The Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 always has great things going on for the whole family but this March Break is going to be ‘Super’ special!

Bam! Pow! Get ready for ‘Super March Break at the Museum’, an action-packed week celebrating our beloved superheroes – through music, dance, food, crafts, and movies. Enjoy hands-on learning and fun workshops featuring both comic book characters and ‘real-life’ superheroes from our community!

Drop-in to the Museum any day Monday through Friday during March Break with your ‘little superheroes’ to feel the power of learning and fun! In addition to the crafts and Drawing Workshops, March Break Events will also include Movement Workshops and Food Workshops.

The Movement Workshops (Monday – Thursday at 2:00 pm) is a show-and-tell of dancing, stretching, and ways to move your body. Immediately following (Monday – Thursday at 3:00 pm), your aspiring chefs and food lovers can join special guests from our community for hands-on cooking demonstrations and food tastings at the Food Workshops.

Also being featured at the Museum is a special March Break production from the Eastern Front Theatre – ‘Stories from the Golden Age of Superheroes’.

This family-friendly collection of radio plays will be brought to life with live sound effects by Halifax actors from the Eastern Front Theatre. You can enjoy these stories daily at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm throughout March Break (Monday to Thursday) at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21.

Daily activities are included with regular Museum admission but space for workshops is limited. Day-of, in-person registration will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
