Visit the Museum of Natural History this summer and see the past and present collide in their newest exhibit, Monsters of the Abyss! Discover the biggest and most feared aquatic predators through time. Learn the history and ecology of these amazing prehistoric and modern-day creatures and discover why they were so feared! You can also learn about extinction-level events and see the monsters that are still around today, living in our oceans, rivers and lakes!

While at the museum, explore their permanent exhibits. These displays are appropriate for all ages, including Pjila’si, meaning “welcome” in Mi’kmaw, an interactive space that celebrates Mi’kmaw culture. Other permanent exhibits explore culture, nature, biology and more. A visit with Gus, the museum’s mascot and 102-year-old tortoise, is also a must!

There are lots of other fun things to explore at the museum, so what are you waiting for? Monsters of the Abyss is only on until September 7th – don’t miss out! Plan a family visit this summer!
