Museum of Natural History, Halifax Nova Scotia

Autism Nova Scotia and the Museum of Natural History presents Sensory Friendly Sundays at the Museum from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on the first Sunday of each month. During this time, you can enjoy all the museum has to offer, including an earlier opening time, reduced lighting, reduced sound, sensory maps and social narratives.

The sensory map provides the layout of the museum and indicates areas that tend to be noisier and where you can sit down for a quiet rest.

The social narrative allows you to see photos and learn more about what you can see and do at the museum when you visit.
